American Airlines - Seattle Snowball Express - Gary Sinise Foundation
Quilts are given to children who have lost a parent in the military. American Airlines sponsors this event at the airport. The children are taken to a fun destination for a week.
Children’s Hospital - Seattle
Children ages 1—18 receiving chemo at Children’s, Fred Hutchinson and Madigan Hospitals. Washington State has the highest incidence of children’s cancer than any other state.
Covington and Auburn MultiCare - Oncology Dept for Adults
Quilts are given to adults receiving chemo and radiation.
Jennifer Beach Foundation - Covington, WA
Quilts are given to children learning to break the cycle of abuse. The quilts are part of the tools that are used in the training of the children.
PICC—Pediatric Interim Care Center—Kent WA
Isolette covers are provided for newborns who are addicted to Meth, Heroin and other drugs. PICC is the only facility of it’s kind in the US. We also give small quilts for when the babies are released.
Valley Medical Center - Breast Cancer Unit, Renton, WA
Quilts are given to patients receiving radiation/chemotherapy.
Valley Medical Center – NICU-Intensive Care Unit for Newborns, Renton, WA
Quilts are given to newborns with life threatening problems or premature babies.
Vine Maple Place - Maple Valley, WA
Quilts are given to displaced families as a symbol of hope for the future. Most families arrive with very little or nothing at all. 'Bags' are also given.
